Graham could you please clarify some things because you are putting the opinions and facts in random orders. Could you please clarify and change the way you said it. I understood a little and the little I understood I would agree with.

I don't agree with one of your opinion because you said that "many factories were being built" that's a fact not an opinion. You see what I'm saying

Child labor uses and often misuses children in a workplace that benefits only employs. One other fact I have is that some people lied about their children's ages because they wanted them to get a job.One last fact I have is that child labor started in Europe in the 1700's. One opinion I have is that employs thought they were not likely to cause problems. One last opinion I have is that believe it or not,the chores you and other young people do today are nothing compared to the hard dangerous work many children did less than one hundred years ago!!!!

The two facts I got are "children had to work along side of their parents"
and "people that were employed had to quit and unemployed people had to take their place. My two opinions that I got are "they did not question authority and employers thought they were not likely to cause problems." and " believe it or not, the chores you do today are nothing compared to the hard, dangerous work many children did less than one hundred years ago."

My two facts about pages 6-8 in the story "Danger!Children at work" are"It started in Europe in the 1700s with production of iron and the use of coal to power machines". Also,"Many factories were being built there in the 1800s." My two opinions are "To the workers' dismay, the factories did not need their skills anymore." Second," They did not question authority, and employers thought they were not likely to cause problems."

Also , you can tell weather it is a fact or opinion by seeing if there is either a judgement or if it says I feel or I think and it's a fact because you can prove it or look it up.

In pages 6-8, one fact was that people lied about their children's age in order to get them on a factory payroll. The second fact is that unskilled workers could tend the machines and perform the repetitive, boring work for much less money. A opinion is the factories did not need there skills anymore. Another opinion is that employers thought they were not likely to cause problems.

1. One fact is child labor started in the 1700s in Europe another fact is, the new industrial societies used child labor. An opinion about child labor is they did not question authority, and employees thought they were not likely to cause problems. Another opinion is the practice of child labor, however is different. I know the difference between opinion and fact because an opinion is someone feels or thinks and a fact is something you can prove or is true.
