I agree with Emily, but on the other hand I think you have included a little bit more details. But other than that I think you did a good job!

The difference between 1979 and 2003 is that in 1979 there was more ice than 2003.I think there was more area originally covered by ice in 2003 because there was more ice in 1979.I think why there is changes because there is global warming like they said on page 3

On page 7 it helps me understand by putting the pictures and captions along with the highlighted words. Another thing that helps me understand is that its passage or paragraph is good and helps me understand , because it includes good specific details.

I forgot to pull evidence from the text! Here is some evidence from the text it says that some of the most important changes today may be happening because of Global Warming, Global Warming means that the Earth is slowly getting warmer. A warmer Earth will change our weather and how living things on earth survive page #3.On page 7 it says Scientists study the Arctic Ocean, the apprentices who work with them drill holes in the ice. Then they measure the thickness of the ice. That was my evidence from the text.

There is a diffrence in the Artic ocean today because the factories we make produce goods and greenhouse gases that trap the sun heat in the atmosphere and there is so much heat it start's melting the polar and Arctic ice caps.

In 1979 less ice has melted,in 2003 more ice has melted. This helps me understand that global warming is not just affecting grass but also affecting the Arctic Ocean.

Looking for changes: The images on page 7 helps me understand the difference of the cold Arctic ocean between 1979 and 2003 because it shows me that the big Earth changes. There is a difference between 1979 and 2003 because the arctic is melting a little bit more every long year.

After reading the book "looking for changes" i can answer the question scientists study the Artic ocean .The apprentices who work with them drill holes in the ice. They measure the thickness of the ice they study satellite pictures as well. They help the scientists wright essays about etrel learning. From their work we have learned the Artic ice melites more each year .(size of the ice covering the Artic ocean in 1979 and 2003.

After reading page seven I got this information . The images on page seven help me understand the differences of the Arctic ocean in 1979 and 2003 . The difference of 1979 the ice froze over more then it did in 2003. The reason why there is a difference is that the Arctic is melting a little more each year . Because warmer temperatures on earth caused this melting

The images on page 7 show that the size of the ice covering the Arctic Ocean 1978 and 2003.The image that show's 1979 has more ice then the 2003 image because the Arctic ice is melting each year.1979 is older then 2003 so 2003 has less ice than 1979 image.

In the story, "Looking for Changes" I saw a big change. In the year 1979 there was a lot of ice in the arctic. In 2003, the ice got smaller, it shrunk. Apprentices and scientists have been drilling holes in the ice to investigate what is going on. The apprentice does the drilling, they do it because the scientists write an essay about the ice. The scientist learned the arctic is melting a little bit each year due temperatures it's getting warmer.
